A key focus within the company is our commitment to the environment through the sourcing of sustainable timber, minimisation of waste and recycling of materials for our garage doors.
After extensive research, we have awarded the contract to supply all of our timber to the world leader in sustainable forestry, Georgia Pacific. Their long-term view and day-to-day practices mean that 100% of their timber products meet the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Standard. This is the gold standard for promoting sustainability and we are proud to meet these stringent requirements.

- The term "handcrafted" is often applied to items that might have been touched by human hands for mere seconds. Each of our timber sectional doors requires well over twenty-five hours of work by a skilled craftsman to complete.
- Mortise and tenon construction is not extinct. It's slow, but each of our doors is constructed in this manner because it's crucial to giving these special doors longevity.

- Your timber door is bespoke and just like a fine business suit, we measure, measure and then check it one more time to be certain it's the perfect fit.

Draught-Proof
- Full perimeter robust weather seals ensures there is a draught proof barrier to prevent rain, debris and vermin from entering your garage - ideal for integrated garages.
Window Options
- The timber garage doors can also be tailored to your individual requirements and can be designed to incorporate window options.
- Like our garage doors we only use the best products available to compliment our special process. For this reason we use stainless steel windows with tempered glass.
Security & Convenience
- We recommend Garage Door System timber doors are installed with the LiftMaster LM1000 door opener model. This opener has a massive 1000 newtons of pulling force which is ideal for larger & heavier doors.
- In addition to convenience there is also the benefit of increased security against forced entry as the door opener acts as a positive lock.
Door Finish
- Timber garage doors are shipped unfinished, base stained with Sikkens water based wood stain, allowing you to finish your door in a variety of stain and paint colours.
- Sections are supplied as primed Western Red Cedar and must be finished using Sikkens "BL31" water based wood stain.
